Observations -
Wide Shot (Long Shot): I captured the subject along with their surrounding environment. This allowed me to show context and background, giving a sense of space and atmosphere around the person. I tried to click a silhouette of the lady in the middle of a corridor. It helped me see how placement within the frame influences the story being told. Placing her in the center draws attention as the lines of the corridor seems to end at her.
Mid Shot (Medium Shot): I framed the subject from the waist up, which created a balance between the person and their background. This shot was useful in focusing more on the subject, adding a little more details than the wide shot, while still giving some environmental detail.
Close Shot (Close-Up): I zoomed in on the subject’s face and expression. This allowed me to highlight finer details and emotions, creating a stronger connection between the subject and the viewer.
